belt conveyor

A conveyor that consists of a suitably tensioned endless belt made from hard wearing materials and arranged to run over rollers.

chain conveyor

A conveyor in which endless chains are used to support slats, apron, pans, buckets, as distinct from the use of single band.

pneumatic conveyor

A conveyor for transporting dry, free flowing, granular material in suspension within a pipe or duct by means of a high-velocity airstream or by the energy of expanding compressed air within a comparatively dense column of fluidized or aerated material.

roller conveyor

A conveyor comprising a series of closely spaced rollers set so that their crests can support articles to be conveyed. They may be power-driven, or freely revolving. Tapered rollers are used to form bends in the conveyor line.

screw conveyor

Is a conveyer intended to move dry, solid material from one location to another by means of a helix or screw rotating in a cylindrical conduit.

slat conveyor

A conveyor consisting of a series of slats generally made of metal or wood attached to an endless chain.

vibrating conveyor

A conveyor that is a tubular or flat trough with slides, to which vibrators are attached. The latter impart an upward and forward conveying movement to bulk materials in the trough.
